19AUTOMATIC PARKING ASSIST♦ ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKETIRE PRESSURE MONITORAutomatic Parking Assiststeers the vehicle to help parkin parallel and perpendicularspaces.1. Press the AutomaticParking Assist button onthe right side of the CadillacCUE touch screen. A beepsounds and a parking assistdisplay is shown in the Driver Information Center (DIC). Thesystem will begin searching for a large enough parking space.2. To switch between parallel and perpendicular parking, pressand hold the button during the search process.3. The system searches for parking spaces to the right of thevehicle. To search for a parking space to the left, turn on the leftturn signal.4. Once a space is found, shift the vehicle into Reverse to engageautomatic steering.5. Remove your hands from the steering wheel and accelerate orbrake as required. Shifting directions will be displayed on theDIC. Be prepared to brake.6. Parking Complete is displayed and a beep sounds when theparking maneuver is complete.See Driving and Operating in your Owner Manual.To apply the parking brake,pull the Parking Brakeswitch on the left side ofthe instrument panel.To release the parkingbrake, turn on the ignition,press the brake pedal, andthen press the switch.Note: The parking brake willrelease automatically if the vehicle is running, placed into gear and anattempt is made to drive away.See Driving and Operating in your Owner Manual.The Low Tire Pressure warning light on the instrument clusterilluminates when one or more of the vehicle’s tires is significantlyunderinflated. Fill the tires to the proper tire pressures. The propertire pressures for the vehicle are listed on the Tire and LoadingInformation label, located below the driver’s door latch. Current tirepressures can be viewed in the Driver Information Center.Tire pressure is affected by cold weather and distance driven.If the low tire pressure warning light illuminates when the vehicle isfirst started in cooler temperatures and then turns off as the vehicleis driven, check for the proper tire pressures.Refer to your Owner Manual for additional information about normalmonthly tire maintenance.See Vehicle Care in your Owner Manual.♦ Optional equipment
