It can be disabledthrough the Driver InformationCenter (DIC).If the message SIDE BLIND ZONESYSTEM UNAVAILABLE appearson the DIC, the system has beendisabled because the sensor isblocked and cannot detect vehiclesin the blind zone. The sensor maybe blocked by mud, dirt, snow, ice,slush, or even heavy rainstorms.This message may also activateduring heavy rain or due to roadspray.
