UT20 and UT30 Universal Towers16FIGURE 7-12. UT20/30 lightning rod and mounting bracket4. “Walk” the tower to its upright position and install the remaining bolts inthe tower base.5. Attach the guy wires to the anchors (FIGURE 7-13). Unscrew the jaw andeye bolts until 1 inch of thread extends through the turnbuckle body.Attach the jaw end of the turnbuckles to the anchors. While holding thetower plumb, attach the guy wires to the eye end of the turnbuckles byusing a thimble and two U-bolts for each guy wire.
