SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS (DO NOT MODIFY THIS APPLIANCE)18 | Cannon Power FlueTo Replace The Fan Pressure Switch1. Remove the fascia. Refer to page 14 of theinstallation instructions.2. Remove the electronic controller. Refer to page17.3. Remove the connecting wiring from the pressureswitch.4. Remove the silicone tubes from the pressureswitch.5. The pressure switch is secured onto the rear of thefan chamber housing by two M5 screws. Removethe screws.6. Replace the pressure switch. For wiring, one wireto “C”(Common) and the other to connect to “NO”(Normally Open). Polarity is not important.7. Re-attach silicone tubes making sure that theblack tube attaches to the black side of thepressure switch. Make sure that the tubes are notpinched or kinked.8. Test operation of fan pressure switch - turn heateron low heat. If heater fails to light even when fan isspinning, refer to the fault codes on page 20.Switch Control Setting (FIG 36)For NG operation, DIL switch should be positioned inpoint ‘1'.For LPG operation, DIL switch should be positioned inpointer ‘O’.For audio beep function, DIL switch should bepositioned in pointer ‘2'.To Replace The Room Circulation Fan1. Remove the fascia. Refer to page 14 of theinstallation instructions.2. Remove the electronic controller and ignitionmodule. Refer to page 17.3. Disconnect the fan plug from the plug carrier.Remove the two M5 wing nuts which locate the fanto the fan chamber underside. Lower fan frommale thread.4. Disconnect the silicone tubes from the fanpressure switch. Remove fan from fan chamber.5. Remove the venturi and bracket from the fanwhich was removed from the heater. Insert andsecure the venturi and bracket on replacement fan.Note: “TOP” should point to air outlet of fan.6. Insert fan into chamber ensuring that the venturi isnot disturbed. Locate fan onto male thread. Securewith M5 wing nuts, ensuring rubber buffer locatesover thread.7. Replace silicone tubes onto fan pressure switchensuring that the black tube is connected to theblack side of the pressure switch. Check to makesure that the tubes are not kinked or pinche. Refer toFIG 37.8. Reconnect fan plug into plug carrier. Test operationof room circulation fan and fan pressure switch.
