Similarly remove a fittedglass kit by also gently lifting it upwards and thenoutwards.2. remove 4 M5 screws fixing the fascia assembly to theheater body. bring the bottom of the fascia towardsyou gently to partly disengage it from the body of theheater. after it has been disengaged gently lift it upvertically to completely disengage it from the body ofthe heater. refer FIG 20 & FIG 21.Inner Glass Removalto remove the inner glass loosen off all the clamp screwsand completely remove the upper clamps and onevertical side. try not to touch the front surface of theglass to avoid finger marks use suitable cloth. removethe glass by sliding the glass sideways out of the clampand then lifting out from the bottom. Place the glass in asafe position for refit later.fig 20fig 21to fully remove thefascia, unclip the switchcable from the cableconnector on the PCBand unclip the cable fromthe clipping points onthe rear of the fascia.Electrical Connectionthis appliance is designed to operate on 240v aC powersupply. Failure to operate unit at correct supply voltagemay create unsafe conditions.the heater is supplied with a flexible power cord witha plug fitted. a 10 amp power point (socket) must belocated within 1.5m of the heater. For installations wherethe power point is located outside of the enclosure,locate the power cord in the fascia cut out on the left orright hand side as required.For a power supply connection located inside theenclosure run the power cord through the cord accesslocated on the rear panel by pushing the cord accessplate from the bottom. the rubber grommet that is fittedover the cord must be located correctly in the cut out ofthe cord access plate. refer FIG 22.restore the cord access plate to the original positionand seal with an appropriate removable material, this isespecially important when the installation is in a chimneywith no flue fitted to eliminate the possibility of any leak-age of flue products into the room. A suitable doublepole isolation switch must be installed externally forservicing or emergency shut down of the heater.all fixed wiring must be installed by a suitablyqualified person and comply to the appropriateelectrical wiring rules and gas installation standards.eleCtriCal ConneCtionfig 22grommet
