234 Align the Infrared Port of the computer to that of the printer at a distanceof less than 80cm. When printing from a mobile phone or PDA, place it ata distance of less than 20cm.The effective angle of the Infrared Port of the printer is about 10° from the central axis in both verticaland horizontal directions.The allowable distance of communication with the printer depends on the computer, mobile phone orPDA you use. For this distance, refer to your computer, mobile phone or PDA manual.Printing Photographs Directly from a PictBridge Compliant DeviceConnecting a PictBridge compliant device such as digital camera, camcorder or mobile phone to printerallows you to print recorded images directly without using a computer.• By pressing the RESUME/CANCEL button, you can print the same image data transmitted fromthe mobile phone right before.• Do not place any obstacle between the Infrared Ports of the printer and PDA , mobile phone orcomputer. Data cannot be transmitted between them.• During printing, be careful not to interrupt infrared communication with the printer.
