36Error MessagesError Message Cause Corrective ActionThis type of paper is notcompatible with HP-GL/2.The printer has received an HP-GL/2 print job that cannot beprinted on the paper that has beenadvanced.Follow these steps to replace the type of paper in theprinter.Press ▲ or ▼ to select Stop Printing, and thenpress the OK button to stop printing.1.Replace the paper with a type compatible with HP-GL/2. For details on paper compatible with HP-GL/2, refer to the Paper Reference Guide.(→"Types of Paper," User Manual)2.Press ▲ or ▼ to select Print, and then press the OKbutton to resume printing. However, note that thiserror may cause paper jams and affect the printingquality.Insufficient paper for job The printer has receiveda print job longer than theamount of roll paper left whenManageRemainRoll in theControl Panel menu is On.Press ▲ or ▼ to select Print, and then press the OKbutton to resume printing.However, the roll paper may run out during theprint job and you may not be able to print all of thedocument.Press ▲ or ▼ to select Change Paper, and thenpress the OK button to stop printing.Either change the printer driver Paper Source settingor the GL2 Settings > Paper Source setting in theprinter menu, or replace the roll with a roll that hasenough paper for the print job, and then try printingagain.(→ , Removing the Roll from the Printer)(→ , Loading Rolls in the Printer)End of paper feed.
