The data may not becorrectly recorded on the disc, andthe recording may be permanentlylost.• Do not carry the camcorder by theLCD panel or the disc cover. Becareful when closing the LCD panel.• Do not leave the camcorder in placessubject to high temperatures (like theinside of a car under direct sunlight),or high humidity.• Do not use the camcorder near strongelectromagnetic fields such as aboveTVs, near plasma TVs or mobilephones.• Do not point the lens or viewfinder atstrong light sources. Do not leave thecamcorder pointed at a bright subject.• Do not use or store the camcorder industy or sandy places. The camcorderis not waterproof – avoid also water,mud or salt. If any of the above shouldget into the camcorder it may damagethe camcorder and/or the lens. Besure to close the disc compartmentcover after use.• Be careful of heat generated bylighting equipment.• Do not disassemble the camcorder. Ifthe camcorder does not functionproperly, consult qualified servicepersonnel.• Handle the camcorder with care. Donot subject the camcorder to shocksor vibration as this may causedamage.• When mounting the camcorder on atripod, make sure that the tripod'sfastening screw is shorter than5.5 mm. Using other tripods maydamage the camcorder.• When recording movies, try to get acalm, stable picture.Excessive camcorder movement whileshooting and extensive use of fastzooms and panning can result in jitteryscenes. In extreme cases, theplayback of such scenes may result invisually induced motion sickness.
