554If a problem occurs with the camera, first consult this TroubleshootingGuide. If this Troubleshooting Guide does not resolve the problem,contact your dealer or nearest Canon Service Center.If the battery’s remaining capacity is 94% or higher, the battery willnot be recharged (p.526).Do not use any battery other than genuine Canon Battery PackLP-E6N/LP-E6.If (1) the battery charger or battery has a problem or (2)communication with the battery failed (with a non-Canon batterypack), the protection circuit will stop charging, and the chargelamp will blink in orange at a high speed. In the case of (1), unplugthe charger’s power plug from the power outlet. Detach andreattach the battery to the charger. Wait a few minutes, thenreconnect the power plug to the power outlet. If the problempersists, contact your dealer or nearest Canon Service Center.If the internal temperature of the battery attached to the charger ishigh, the charger will not charge the battery for safety reasons (lampoff). During charging, if the battery’s temperature becomes high forany reason, charging will stop automatically (lamp blinks).
