206Troubleshooting GuideMake sure the flash (or PC sync cord) is securely attached to thecamera. If you use a non-Canon flash with Live View shooting, set [Silentshoot.] to [Disable] (p.104).If you use a flash unit other than an EX-series Speedlite, the flash willalways be fired at full output (p.103).When the [Flash metering mode] flash Custom Function is set to[TTL (autoflash)], the flash will always be fired at full output (p.106).If flash exposure compensation has already been set with theSpeedlite, flash exposure compensation cannot be set with thecamera. When the Speedlite’s flash exposure compensation is set to0, flash exposure compensation can be set with the camera. For Live View shooting, use a memory card (a hard disk-type card is notrecommended). A hard disk-type card requires a lower temperaturerange for operation than normal memory cards. If the temperature getstoo high, the Live View shooting may stop temporarily to prevent damageto the card’s hard disk. When the camera’s internal temperaturedecreases, you can resume Live View shooting (p.112).Set [Screen settings] to [Stills display] or [Exposure simulation](p.109).The flash does not fire. The flash always fires at full output.Flash exposure compensation cannot be set.Live View shooting is not possible.I cannot take still photos at the shutter speed, aperture or ISOspeed I set during Live View shooting.COPYDownloaded From camera-usermanual.com Canon Manuals
