Connectioncan be established easier with WPS (PBC mode).• Connecting via WPS (PBC mode): Perform the operationsdescribed on page 61.• Connecting via WPS (PIN mode): Perform the operationsdescribed on page 65. When WPS is not supported• Connecting to a detected network manually: Perform theoperations described on page 69.Access Point EncryptionThis camera supports the following options for [Authentication] and[Encryption settings]. Therefore, when connecting to a detectednetwork manually, the encryption used by the access point must be oneof the following. [Authentication]: Open system, Shared key, or WPA/WPA2-PSK [Encryption settings]: WEP, TKIP, or AESChecking the Type of Access Point If stealth functions of the access point are active, connection maybe disabled. Deactivate stealth functions. When connecting to a network that has a network administrator, ask theadministrator about the detailed setting procedures.If the network you use filters by MAC address, register the MAC address ofthe camera at the access point. The MAC address can be checked on the[View info] screen (p.144).
