1053 Setting the Image-Recording QualityThe approximate maximum burst isdisplayed on the bottom right in theviewfinder and on the shooting functionsettings screen.If the maximum burst for continuousshooting is 99 or higher, “99” will bedisplayed.Maximum Burst During Continuous ShootingThe maximum burst is displayed even when a card is not inserted in thecamera. Make sure that a card is inserted before taking a picture.If the maximum burst is displayed as “99”, it indicates that you can shoot99 or more shots continuously. If the maximum burst decreases to 98 orlower and the internal buffer memory becomes full, “buSY” will bedisplayed in the viewfinder and on the LCD panel. Shooting will then bedisabled temporarily. If you stop continuous shooting, the maximum burstwill increase. After all the captured images are written to the card, youcan resume continuous shooting and shoot up to the maximum burstlisted in the table on page 103.Even if you use a UHS-I class card, the maximum burst indicator will notchange. The maximum burst in parentheses in the table on page 103 willapply instead.COPY
