Ifyour LASER CLASS 2060P is connected through a PBX or other telephoneswitching system, you have to dial the outside line access number first,and then dial the number of the party you are calling.Long Distance DialingWhen you register a long distance number, you may have to insert apause either within or after the number. For long distance dialing, thelocation and length of the pause may differ depending on the telephonesystem.How to Enter PausesUse this procedure to enter pauses within or at the end of numbers.1. During dialing registration, when you come to a step that asks you toenter a number for dialing, use the numeric buttons to enter thenumber.2.
