Laser/scanner Unit1) Remove the rear cover, left/right cover, and uppercover.2) To enable the disconnection of the connectors,peel off the Warning label (laser) halfway.3) Disconnect the 2 connectors, and remove the 4screws; then, detach the Laser/scanner unit.[1] Warning label (laser)[2] Connector[3] Screw[4] Laser/scanner unitFigure 3-3-1Caution:1. Do not disassemble the Laser/scanner unit; you will not be able toadjust it in the field.2. There is no Warning label (laser)used on the Laser/scanner unitoffered as a service part. If you arereplacing the assembly, remove thelabel from the existing assembly, andtransfer it to the new assembly. Or,use the newly available Warning label(service part). Be sure also to fullyhide the connector openings fromview.[1][4][2][3][3]B. Drive Assembly1) Remove the rear cover and the left/right cover.2) Remove the 2 screws and 2 screws equipped witha washer.
