62Saving Original ImagesNot only can you save images with altered colors whenshooting still images with the Color Accent or Color Swapmodes, but you can also choose to save the original images(before the color change).1 (Rec.) Menu [Save Original][On]/[Off]*.See Menus and Settings (p. 27).* Default setting.z If [On] is selected, the imageswill be saved as consecutive filenumbers. The original image willbe the lower file number, whilethe image shot in Color Accent or Color Swap modewill be the higher file number.You cannot save the originals of still images taken whileshooting a movie in Color Accent or Color Swap mode.If [Save Original] is set to [On]z Only the image set with Color Accent or Color Swap isdisplayed on the LCD monitor (or viewfinder) duringshooting.z The image displayed on the LCD monitor (orviewfinder) immediately after shooting is the one shotwith Color Accent or Color Swap. As erasing the imageat this time will cause the original image to be erased atthe same time, be careful.z As two images are saved with each shot, the numberof recordable shots displayed on the LCD monitor (orviewfinder) will be half the number that is displayedwhen [Save Original] is set to [Off].
