More time is requiredbetween shots when the flash fires or when you have specifiedto take many shots. Shooting will stop automatically when thememory card becomes full.● When a delay longer than two seconds is specified, two secondsbefore the shot, the lamp blinking and self-timer sound will speedup. (The lamp will remain lit in case the flash fires.)● Once you start the self-timer, the lampwill blink and the camera will play a self-timer sound.● Two seconds before the shot, the blinkingand sound will speed up. (The lamp willremain lit in case the flash fires.)● To cancel shooting after you havetriggered the self-timer, press the[ ] button.● To restore the original setting, choose [ ]in step 1.Using the Self-Timer to Avoid Camera ShakeStill Images MoviesThis option delays shutter release until about two seconds after youhave pressed the shutter button. If the camera is unsteady while you arepressing the shutter button, it will not affect your shot.● Follow step 1 in “Using the Self-Timer”(= 33) and choose [ ].● Once the setting is complete, [ ] isdisplayed.● Follow step 2 in “Using the Self-Timer”(= 33) to shoot.
