146RecordingPlaybackMemory Card OperationsAbout the LCD screenThe LCD screen is produced with extremely high-precision manufacturing techniques, with more than99.99% of the pixels operating to specification. Less than 0.01% of the pixels may occasionally misfire orappear as black, red, green or blue dots. This has no effect on the recorded image and does not constitute amalfunction.Problem Cause SolutionA vertical light bar appears on the screen. Bright light in a dark scene may cause avertical light bar (smear) to appear. This isnot a malfunction.Record in Av mode with an aperture valuein the range F5.6–F8.0.61Viewfinder picture is blurred. Viewfinder is not adjusted. Adjust the viewfinder with the dioptricadjustment lever.19Audio is not recorded. The input channel is not set correctly.
