Easy Setup InstructionsStart Here i950Series Photo PrinterUSB PortUSB CableContinue with Step 6on side two.Turn the printer off.Connect one end of the USB cableto the computer, the other to the printer.IMPORTANT: Be sure the printer isoff before continuing, or the computerwill attempt to install the printerdriver before the printer is ready.Connect the PrinterTo Your Computer5Close the front cover and extend the paperrest and paper output tray.Insert the remaining five ink tanks intotheir assigned slots.Insert the ink tank into the correct slot.(Refer to the color guide on the printhead holder.)Press down gently until the ink tanklocks into place.Twist off and discard the orangeprotective cap.NOTE: To avoid spilling ink, never press onthe sides of an ink tank.Protective capInstall the Ink Tanks4Pull the orange tab off the magenta ink tank(BCI-6M), then remove and discard theplastic wrapper.Gently slide the print head into the holder.The print head will rest at a slight angle.Do not press it down.Remove the print head from its package.Turn the print head over, then removethe orange protective cap.NOTE: Do not touch the electrical contacts.Lower the lock lever and gently pressit down until it locks into place.Raise the gray lock lever.Electrical contactsPrint head nozzles3 Install the Print HeadPlug the power cord into the back of theprinter and connect the other end to apower outlet.Open the front cover. The print head holderautomatically moves to the center. Removethe protective tape.Write down the serial number located tothe right of the print head.
