The LPD connection port,the port that is normally used by TCP/IP, is selected as the connectionpoint for this printer.z Setting a Windows XP, Windows 2000 or Windows NT computer on the networkas the print server improves the efficiency of managing the network printer. Windows Me, Windows 98, and Windows 95 SettingsFor Windows Me, Windows 98, or Windows 95 use LPR Port provided onthe provided software CD-ROM to set up the LPD connection. First, installLPR Port, then when you install the printer driver add the LPD connectionprinter port and select this port as the output destination.
