This allows theoperator to start the operation again from the beginning.Figure No. 6ANNUNCIATORSThe annunciators are turned on to indicate that the scale is in the mode corresponding to theannunciator label or that the status indicated by the label is active. It will be helpful to refer tothe scale keyboard or Figure No. 6 when reading this section. The following describes thefunctions of each annunciators.GROSSThe GROSS annunciator is turned on to show that the weight displayed is the gross weight.Gross weight may be displayed only when in the weight mode and a zero tare weight (or no tareweight) value is stored. Note that the GROSS annunciator is only active when the display is inthe weight mode as shown by the illumination of the lb or kg annunciator.TAREThe TARE annunciator is turned on to show that the scale is in a weight mode in which a knowntare (container) weight may be keyed in via the numeric keypad, or in a mode that will display thecurrent TARE weight.NETThe NET annunciator is turned on to show that the weight displayed is the net weight. Net weightis determined by subtracting the stored tare weight from the gross or scale weight. The tareweight, usually the weight of the container, is entered using the tare key. Note that the NETannunciator is only active when a zero tare weight or tare weight value is stored and the displayis in the weight mode as shown by the illumination of the lb or kg annunciator.kgThe kg annunciator is turned on to show that the weight displayed is in kilograms. The lb/kg keymay be used to select kilogram as the weighing units.lbThe lb annunciator is turned on to show that the weight displayed is in pounds.
