CARE AND MAINTENANCECleaning the air filterPlease contact the qualified service personnel to carry out servicing which involve the removal of covers.To maintain the good performance, regularly inspect air filters and clean them if required.Rear ventilated installation:Remove the filter fixed screws(2 screws)andtake down the filter away from the unit.Descensional ventilated installation:Push the filter up slightly to let the position retainerescape away from the flange fixed holes, and take offthe filter according to below arrow direction.Clean the air filterVacuum cleaner or pure water may be used to clean the air filter. If the dust accumulation is too heavy ,please use soft brush and mild detergent to clean it and dry out in cool place. Re-install the air filter inreverse order described above.Storage Preparation [long idle periods]1. Clean the air filters2. In humid or damp climates, operate in Fan onlymode until the unit has dried out.3. Turn the air conditioner off with the remote andremove the batteries.4. Disconnect from the power source.Re-use After Storge1. Check if anything block the air inlet and outlet.2. Clean the air filters3. Check the wires if any damaged or propergrounded.4. Reconnect to the power source5. Wait 24 hours when the ambient temperature islow.6. Reinstall the batteries into the remote controllerand turn the unit on.NOTE:The air-in side should face up when using vacuumcleaner.The air-in side should face down when using water.If the unit you purchased is a rear ventilated one,take off the filter in the directions indicated bythe arrows in the following diagram.If the unit you purchased is a descensional ventilatedmodel, take off the filter in the directions indicated bythe arrows in the following diagram.
