OPEATION2.3 HOW IT WORKSIn this setting the system will automatically change modes and fan speed to the set temperature.[In spring and autumn, closer temperature control may require COOL/HEAT mode changes.]In this mode, priority is given to dehumidifying the air. Low fan speed and compressor cycling is used to achieve this and regulate roomtemperature.AUTO ModeDRY ModeBasic Operation Modes AUTO / COOL / DRY / HEAT / FANAt start-up, a time delay of 3 to 4 minutes protects the compressor.Compressor DelayTo avoid uncomfortable drafts in heating mode, the indoor unit is preheated before the fan starts. This delay should only last a fewminutes.Cold Draft PreventionThe unit will automatically restart after a power interruption. Previous user settings are all recovered.Auto Restart*When refrigerant leakage is detected, the unit will display “EC” code or flash LEDs.Auto Leak Detection*[*] Model dependentLouver angle is memorised and will return to the position last selected by the user.Louver Memory*Press “AIR DIRECTION” on remote controller to adjust air flowdirection. The louver position moves slightly each time thebutton is pressed. Adjust the louver upwards in cooling modewhile downwards in heating mode to achieve best comfort.Adjusting Air Flow DirectionPlease refer to the REMOTE CONTROLLER MANUALfor details.In cooling or dry mode, condensate may form and dripfrom unit in high humidity condition if louver position isin Maximum down.Do not operater the unit with louver closed or narrowopening. Restricted air flow reduced performance andmay cause condensate.NOTECAUTIONDo not attempt to adjust the horizontal louver by hand.Be alert to the moving part when adjust vertical louver. Accidental contact with the fan may cause serious injury.Disconnect from power source before opening the front panel.Upward (Cooling) Horizontal Louver SwingIce develops on the outdoor unit in heating mode.
