26Photocatalyzer Filters• Clean these filters once every threemonths. Wash them with water andleave them to dry in the sun for two orthree hours.• Replace these filters after every fiveyears approximately.MaintenanceAfter the unit has been shut down for anextended period of time and before startingit up again, perform the following:• Inspect and clean the outdoor unit,especially the coil.• Clean and replace the indoor unit’s filters.• Check and clean the condensate trayof the indoor unit.• Do the same with the outdoor units onthe models which possess a heat pump.• Check the sockets of the electricalconnections.Installer’s GuideAfter finishing the installation and testing,explain the main points of this Manual tothe user, giving special attention to the mainoperating modes of the air-conditioningequipment as stated below:• How to switch the unit on and off.• How to change the operating mode.• How to select the temperature.• How to adjust the air direction deflectorsto optimize the air current direction.Leave the Installation & Start-upInstruction’s manual and the Maintenancemanual of the indoor and outdoor units withthe owner, to be referred to in future duringany maintenance operation.
