Do not mount the thermostat in a location that will cause itto be affected by direct sunlight or other heat or cold sources.The thermostat should be clear of all obstructions so it can prop-erly sense the room temperature. Complete rough-in wiring ateach location prior to thermostat installation. Cable insulationmust meet local building codes.1. Remove thermostat cover. If the thermostat is locked on theback plate, turn the two hex screws in on the bottom of thecover (in the two outermost holes) in the back plateCLOCKWISE until they clear the cover. Do not removethese screws completely. Swing the thermostat up andaway from the back plate to remove it.2. Route the wires through the opening in the back plate.3. Install the back plate directly to the junction box using thescrews supplied with the thermostat. Verify the hex screwsused for securing the cover are located at the bottom beforeinstalling.4. Connect the wires to the terminal block. Refer to the wiringdiagram located on the inside cover of the control enclo-sure of each unit showing the wiring terminations.5. Replace the thermostat cover. Turn the two hex screwsCOUNTER CLOCKWISE until they are flush with thebottom cover and secure it to the back plate.Programming Thermostat1. The thermostat has three sequences that are selectable fromthe display screen. To access the configuration menu on thethermostat, press and hold the Up and Down arrows for 10seconds until the display starts flashing “LIMITS”. Use theUp and Down arrows to scroll between the different menuoptions or set a specific value. Use the Setpoint button toselect a menu or set a value.2. To set the minimum and maximum airflow limits, UseAO1 Min and AO1 Max or AO2 Min and AO2 Max. Usethe Table 16 to determine thermostat setting for the CFMper inlet size.3. For details on how to program the thermostat for eachcontrol sequence see the specific control sequence sub-mittal.
