The water coil could be activatedin the following cases:- As a support in HEATING mode, as the first stage orsubsequently with the input of all the available compressors.- As support in HEATING mode in accordance with the outlettemperature.- During the defrosting operation if selected as support.- With the unit running or shut down if an anti-freeze alarmis triggered.- With the unit stopped when the outdoor temperature dropsbelow 4ºC. In this case the circulation pump of the watercircuit will be connected.- As support in COOLING mode in accordance with the returnand the oultlet temperatures.The pump of the water circuit has to be activated wheneverthe 3-way valve is switched on. It is the installer’s responsibilityto connect the pump to the electronic control, except with thefactory-installed GREAT COLD option. Consult the electricalscheme supplied with the unit.Note: Refer to the operation mode of the pump with theGREAT COLD option in the chapter “Safety elements”.● Coil filling:- The coil filling must be made with the bleeder valve openuntil water runs through it, which is when it is time to close it.- Cut off the water supply and let the bubbles generated goup to the highest coil point, which is the same as the bleedervalve, and eliminate by opening the purger.- Pour more water into the circuit and repeat the previoussteps.- Activate the water pump (to be foreseen by the installer)and repeat the previous steps until no air noises are heardin the piping, which is when the filling of the installation willhave been finished successfully.● In case of long unit stops, and forcibly if they happen in thewinter season, the coil must be emptied.● To prevent the water from freezing, with this option the unitalways has an anti-freezing thermostat. Add glycol to the waterif necessary. With the GREAT COLD option, it is necessaryto consult for glycol percentages higher than 20%.● The direction of the water flow must be correct and so thefollowing indications must be observed:A BC21LEGEND1 Water outlet2 Water inlet● Assembly inside the unit. The inlet/outlet connections of thehot water coil are located inside the unit.
