(You can hear receiving beep.) Ifyou press this button immediately after turning off the unit,the compressor will not operate for 3 minutes to keep itselffrom overloading.2 TEMPERATURE SETTING BUTTONSIf you set the desired room temperature, then the unit will keepthe room temperature to the set temperature. In COOL mode,when the room temperature is higher than the setting, thecompressor is automatically turned on to provide cooling effect.When the room temperature is lower than the setting, thecompressor is automatically tumed off to stop coolingoperation. Units with HEAT pump: In HEAT mode, when theroom temperature is lower than the setting, the compressor isautomatically turned on to provide heating effect. When theroom temperature is higher than the setting, the compressoris automatically turned off to stop heating operation. Howeverthe indoor fan will run to circulate the indoor air even duringthe compressor is turned off.3 SLEEP TIMER BUTTONPress this button to set the sleep timer. (Refer to P. 11)4 OPERATION MODE SELECTING BUTTONPress this button to select the desired mode. In DRY mode,the microcomputer of the unit controls the indoor fan motorand makes the outdoor unit automatically turn on and offaccording to the room temperature, and the moisture will beremoved more effectively. In COOL mode, the unit will run thenormal cooling mode. In FAN mode, only the indoor fan willoperate at the selected speed and circulate the room air. UnitsNames and Functions of the Buttonswith heat pump: In HEAT mode, the unit will run the normalheating mode.5 FAN SPEED SELECTING BUTTONPress the button to select the desired fan speed out of AUTO,LOW, MED, HIGH, and the indoor fan will operate at theselected fan speed. If you select “AUTO”, the fan speed iscontrolled by microcomputer of the unit.6 FLAP CONTROL BUTTONControls the discharge air flow direction up and down. (Referto p. 12) At the beginning, the flaps open properly accordingto operating mode. If you press this button, the flap will movestepwise and the position will be displayed. If you press thisbutton again, the flap will swing up and down continuously.7 ON/OFF TIMER AND CURRENT TIME BUTTONSIf you set ON and OFF time, the unit will be automaticallyturned on and off at set time. (Refer to p. 10) If you press theCLOCK button during Timer operation, you can see the currenttime for 5 seconds.8 HOUR/MINUTE SETTING BUTTONSAdjust current time and on/off time with these buttons.9 RESERVATION AND CANCEL BUTTONSPress RESERV, button to reserve ON/OFF Timer and pressCANCEL button to cancel the reserved ON/OFFtime.
