2Fan wheels are designed toprovide low operating costsThe forward-curved, centrifugal,double-inlet fans are statically anddynamically balanced at the factory tominimize transmission of vibrationto the building structure.In addition, the blower is isolatedfrom the cabinet by rubber isolators,and the blower is isolated from the ductconnections by foam.All motors (single and three phase)are UL (Underwriters Laboratories) list-ed or equivalent, factory wired, singlespeed with thermal overload protec-tion and are continuous duty rated.Motors are supplied with permanentlylubricated bearings, class-B insulationand are open drip-proof. The motormount has an adjustable platform foreasy belt adjustment. The motor is re-silient mounted (up to 2 hp) or rigidbase mounted (3 to 5 hp) for vibrationfree installation. Drives are pre-set atthe factory for the specific airflow atstatic pressures as ordered. An adjust-able pitch pulley allows cfm balancingto meet system requirements.Complete factory assemblyminimizes on-the-jobsite costsand problemsCompact, lightweight units are designedfor easy mounting. For horizontal units,knockouts designed to accept 3/8-in.threaded rods are provided on the topand bottom of each corner of the unit.External vibration isolation and flexconnections for ducts is recommended.One-in. duct collars on discharge andon return are furnished standard. Theseintegral duct collars cut installation timeand labor expense.Durable construction meanseasy-to-maintain unitsThe 42BHE,BVE fan coil casings arefabricated from heavy-gage galvanizedG90 steel, reinforced for maximumrigidity and structural strength. Option-al one-inch double wall construction,perforated or solid lined, is also avail-able. Removable side panels with tool-less camlock fasteners allow easy ac-cess for servicing interior components.One-inch matte surface, fiberglassthermal/acoustical insulation lines thefan coil cabinets to prevent sweatingand to muffle sound transmission. Pre-mium anti-microbial fiberglass, foilfaced, and closed cell insulations arealso available to address IAQ (indoorair quality) concerns.The stainless steel, double-slopedcondensate drain pan is removable forease of cleaning, and all models in-clude primary and secondary drainconnections to provide back up in casethe main connection is plugged.Slide-in return-duct collar filtermakes it possible to remove and re-place the filter without disturbingreturn air ductwork.
