This is the safety-alert symbol . When you see this symbol on the unit and in in-structions or manuals, be alert to the potential for personal injury.Understand the signal words DANGER, WARNING, CAU-TION, and NOTE. Before performing service or maintenance opera-tions on the unit, always turn off main power switch to unitand install lock(s) and lockout tag(s). Unit may have morethan one power switch. Ensure electrical service to rooftopunit agrees with voltage and amperage listed on the unit rat-ing plate.CAUTIONCUT HAZARDFailure to follow this caution may result in personal injury.Sheet metal parts may have sharp edges or burrs. Use careand wear appropriate protective clothing, safety glasses andgloves when handling parts and servicing roof top units.CAUTIONFailure to follow this caution may result in personal injuryand damage to the unit. Cover the duct opening as a precau-tion so objects cannot fall into the return duct opening.
