All other operationsshould be performed by trained service personnel. When workingon air-conditioning equipment, observe precautions in theliterature, tags and labels attached to the unit, and other safetyprecautions that may apply.Follow all safety codes. Wear safety glasses and work gloves. Usequenching cloth for unbrazing operations. Have fire extinguisheravailable for all brazing operations.It is important to recognize safety information. This is the safety-alert symbol . When you see this symbol on the unit and ininstructions or manuals, be alert to the potential for personalinjury.Understand the signal words DANGER, WARNING, CAUTION,and NOTE. These words are used with the safety-alert symbol.DANGER identifies the most serious hazards which will result insevere personal injury or death. WARNING signifies hazardswhich could result in personal injury or death. CAUTION is usedto identify unsafe practices, which may result in minor personalinjury or product and property damage. NOTE is used to highlightsuggestions which will result in enhanced installation, reliability,or operation.GENERALThe power exhaust accessory is for use in both vertical and hori-zontal return air duct applications.Confirm that the power exhaust package part number on the cratematches the unit size and voltage of the unit per Tables 1 and 2.Consult product literature for the economizer accessory if the unitis not already equipped.Refer to Table 3 for a complete list of parts contained in each pow-er exhaust kit.The power exhaust hood assembly has 2 power exhaust blowers.Return block-off panels, support bracket, screws, relay and wiringharness are also included in the package.IMPORTANT: Read these instructions completely beforeattempting to install this accessory.WARNINGELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARDFailure to follow this warning could result in personal injuryand/or death.Before beginning any modification, disconnect power supplyand install lockout tag before attempting to install theaccessory.
