1810.2 CONNECTION TO THE OUTDOOR UNITTighten the flare nut to the piping ports of the outdoor unit with thesame tightening method as that used for the indoor unit.To prevent leakages pay special attention to the following points:· Tighten the connectors using two wrenches. Take care not todamage the pipes.· If the tightening torque is not sufficient, there will probably be leakages. If the torque is too great, there could be leaksbecause it is easy to damage the flange.· The safest way to tighten the connection is to use a standard wrench and a torque wrench: in this case, use the following table.Note: Connect the pipes with connector set by soldering for gas pipe size Ø7/8” - Ø1-1/8”CONNECTING THE PIPESCONNECTION TO THE INDOOR UNIT· Do not remove the cap from the pipes until just beforeconnecting them. This is to prevent humidity or dirt fromentering the pipes.· If a pipe is bent too many times, it will become stiff: do notbend the same part of the pipe more than 3 times. Whenunwinding the pipe, be careful not to pull it.
