Wiring Diagram25HNB9Infinityr 19 2---Stage Heat Pumpwith Puronr Refrigerant2 to 5 Nominal Tons338865-101 REV. A1. Compressor furnished with inherent thermal protection.2. To be wired in accordance with National Electric Code (N.E.C.) and local codes.3. Outdoor unit control requires a minimum of 27 va, 24 vac control power.4. Use copper conductors only. Use conductors suitable for at least 70ºC (167ºF).5. If indoor section has a transformer with a grounded secondary, connect the grounded side to “C”.6. If any of the original wire, as supplied, must be replaced, use the same or equivalent wire.7. Check all electrical connections inside control box for tightness.8. Do not attempt to operate unit until service valves have been opened (Back Seated).9. MUST USE THERMOSTAT OR USER INTERFACE LISTED IN PRE-SALE LITERATURE ONLY.10. In case of non-communicating indoor system disconnect factory provided wires from A, B, C, and Dterminals. Use factory provided wires to connect to R, C, W1, Y1, Y2, and O as required byinstallation instructions. Cap or remove unused factory provided wires.11. For communicating control only.CAPCBCCHCHSCOMMCOMPCONTCAPACITORCONTROL BOARDCRANKCASE HEATERCRANKCASE HEATER SWITCHSYSTEM COMMUNICATIONCOMPRESSORCONTACTORNOTES:SCHEMATIC DIAGRAM (LADDER FORM)* MAY BE FIELD INSTALLEDLEGENDFACTORY POWER WIRINGFACTORY CONTROL WIRINGFIELD CONTROL WIRINGFIELD POWER WIRINGCOMPONENT CONNECTIONFIELD SPLICEJUNCTIONCONNECTIONDIAGRAMCSDTSHPSLPS* LSOATOCTOFMRVSSCSEVSRSTATUSTRAN* UCCOMP HIGH CAP SOLENOIDDISCHARGE TEMP SWITCHHIGH PRESSURE SWITCHLOW PRESSURE SWITCHLIQUID SOLENOIDTHERMISTOR (OUTDOOR AIR)THERMISTOR COILOUTDOOR FAN MOTORREVERSING VALVE SOLENOIDSTART CAPACITORSOLENOID EXPANSION VALVESTART RELAYSYSTEM FUNCTION LIGHTTRANSFORMERUTILITY CURTAILMENTCONTROLBOARDCAPACITORCONTTRANMODEL MODELPLUGHK70EZSIZEMODEL PLUG CHART1 - 4 (R1) 2 - 3 (R2)PIN RESISTANCE (K )03604812145.15.1180270060 16 11 5.1YELUNIT OPERATIONTRAN 24VTRAN 24VCSBLU RED REDBRNCCHBLKBLKYELCOM230VBLK 208VBLK*SRBRNBLU*SCYELCAPCHSBLK2 15BLKVIOBLKYELRED/WHTYELYELBRNBLU208/230 1ØPOWERSUPPLYL111EQUIP GNDL2 2123 23C CBRN/YELCONTYEL/PNKYEL/PNKLPSBLU/PNKBLU/PNKHPSREDREDDTSREDBRNBRN/YELRED/WHTBLUT1CLOHI*UC (WITH INFINITY/EVOLUTION ONLY)CONNECT TOR AND Y2 ONCONTROL BOARDTO INDOOR UNITCOMM STATUSLED LEDPL5PL7PL4PL3PL2SRYELBRNBLUL2VRVS2121314321R C Y1W1 Y2 OQUIETSHIFTOFF(DEFAULT)321OATPL6OCTONP8FORCEDDEFROSTMODEL PLUG45214321CRVSSEVDEFROSTTIMECBTIME(MIN)VIO BLKCPL1 BLU3090606012030REDCCHODFL1 YELPWM1PWM2RVSORGORGBRNBRNOCTBLKOATBLK*LSBLKYELBLUBLKOFMGRN/YELBLUCOMPRVSOCTOAT*LSQUIETSHIFTOFF(DEFAULT)OATOCTONP8FORCEDDEFROSTMODEL PLUGCRVSSEVDEFROSTTIMECBTIME(MIN)CPL1PWM1PWM2PL6452143213213090606012030COMM STATUSLED LEDPL5PL4PL3PL2SR2121314321TO INDOOR UNITLPSHPSDTSCONTCST1CLOHIVR CCHODFL1VS L2L1CCH*SR *SCCOMP CAPCHS2 1511EQUIPGND2123 23OFMCONTL2CONTCTRAN 230V230VCOMPField initiated forced defrost - (shown as forced defrost on board) by placing a jumperacross the forced defrost terminals for 5 seconds, or longer, and then removing thejumper the unit will initate a defrost cycle regardless of coil temperature the defrostcycle will terminate at 65ºF (+/-5º) if coil termperature is above 32ºF or outdoor ambienttemperature is above 50ºF, defrost mode will terminate after 30 seconds of active mode. This control board contains a five minute short cycle protector. A five minute delay willoccur between compressor off/on cycles. To bypass delay, short forced defrost pinsfor 1 second then release. The crankcase heater is energized during off cycle below 65ºF.Defrost time selection - (shown as DT on board) the defrost interval time can be fieldselected, dependent upon local georgraphic requirements. It is factory set at 90 minutesand can be changed to either 30, 60 or 120 minutes.Defrost - defrost will only be performed at outdoor temperatures less than 50ºF defrostwill initiate when time selected has elapsed and the coil temperature is less than 32ºF(+/-2º) And will terminate at 65ºF (+/-5º) upon defrost termination the outdoor fan will delay20 Seconds before starting.BLUYELBLKFLASHCODE FAULT DEFINITION FLASHCODE FAULT DEFINITIONOn, No Flash Standby1, Pause Low Stage2, Pause High Stage1625 Invalid Model Plug31 High Pressure Switch Trip orDisch Temp Switch Trip45 Control Fault46 Brown out (230V)47 No 230v with call to run53 Outdoor Air Temp Sensor72 High Stage Thermal Cutout73 Contactor ShortedSystem Communications Failure32 Low Pressure Switch Trip71 Low Stage Thermal Cutout74 Contactor Open (No 230v to Comp)55 Coil Temp Sensor56 Temp Sensor Range Error81 Low Stage thermal lockout (4 HRS)82 High Stage thermal lockout (4 HRS)83 Low pressure lockout (4 HRS)84 High pressure lockout (4 HRS)Short flashes indicate the first digit in the status code, followed by long flashes indicating the second digit ofthe status code.3, Pause ODU Fan Delay Defeat Not Active4, Pause5, Pause6, PauseODU Fan Delay Defeat ActiveBrown Out is DisabledBrown Out is ActiveOPTIONALNON-COMMUNICATINGCONTROLSEE NOTE #10R C W1 Y1 Y2 OAS PROVIDEDBY MANUFACTURERSEE NOTE #11A B C DGRNYELWHTREDPL7 R C Y1W1 Y2 OAS PROVIDEDBY MANUFACTURERSEE NOTE #11A B C DGRNYELWHTREDOPTIONALNON-COMMUNICATINGCONTROLSEE NOTE #10R C W1 Y1 Y2 O024 10 5.1 120Fig. 1 – Wiring Diagram — Model sizes 2 -- 5 tons, 208/230--1 |
