PY5G--B: Installation InstructionsManufacturer reserves the right to change, at any time, specifications and designs without notice and without obligations.10Step 6 – Connect Condensate DrainNOTE: When installing condensate drain connection be sure to complywith local codes and restrictions. This unit disposes of condensate water through a 3/4 in. NPT fittingwhich exits through the base on the evaporator coil access side. See forlocation.Condensate water can be drained directly onto the roof in rooftopinstallations (where permitted) or onto a gravel apron in ground levelinstallations. Install a field-supplied 2-in. (51 mm) condensate trap at theend of condensate connection to ensure proper drainage. Make sure thatthe outlet of the trap is at least 1 in. (25 mm) lower than the drain-pancondensate connection to prevent the pan from overflowing (See Fig. 7).Prime the trap with water. When using a gravel apron, make sure itslopes away from the unit.Connect a drain tube using a minimum of 3/4-in. PVC or 3/4-in. copperpipe (all field-supplied) at the outlet end of the 2-in. (51 mm) trap. Donot undersize the tube. Pitch the drain tube downward at a slope of atleast 1-in. (25 mm) for every 10 ft (3.1 m) of horizontal run. Be sure tocheck the drain tube for leaks.A09052Fig. 7 – Condensate TrapStep 7 – Install Flue HoodThe flue assembly is secured and shipped in the return air duct. Removeduct cover to locate the assembly (See Fig. 9).NOTE: Dedicated low NOx models MUST be installed in CaliforniaAir Quality Management Districts where a Low NOx rule exists.Table 1—Physical Data (Continued)UNIT SIZE 48090 48115 48130 60090 60115 60130NOMINAL CAPACITY (ton) 4 4 4 5 5 5SHIPPING WEIGHT lbSHIPPING WEIGHT kg491223491223491223496225496225496225COMPRESSOR / QUANTITY Scroll / 1REFRIGERANT (R-454B)Quantity lbQuantity (kg.)7.53.48.253.7MINIMUM CONDITIONED SPACE AREA (sq. ft.) 125 137REFRIGERANT METERING DEVICE Orifice TXVORIFICE ID in./mm .078 / 1.98 N/AOUTDOOR COILRows...Fins/in.Face Area (sq ft)1...2121.41...2121.41...2121.42...2117.52...2117.52...2117.5OUTDOOR FANNominal CFMDiameter in.Diameter (mm)Motor Hp (Rpm)350026660.41/5 (810)350026660.41/5 (810)350026660.41/5 (810)350026660.41/5 (810)350026660.41/5 (810)350026660.41/5 (810)INDOOR COILRows...Fins/in.Face Area (sq ft)3...175.63...175.63...175.63...175.63...175.63...175.6INDOOR BLOWERRequired Minimum Dissipation Airflow (CFM)Nominal Cooling Airflow (CFM)Size in.Size (mm)Motor HP (RPM)213160011x10279.4x2541.0 (1075)213160011x10279.4x2541.0 (1075)213160011x10279.4x2541.0 (1075)239175011x10279.4x2541.0 (1040)239175011x10279.4x2541.0 (1040)239175011x10279.4x2541.0 (1040)FURNACE SECTION *Burner Orifice No. (Qty...Drill Size)Natural Gas (Factory Installed)Propane Gas*.
