CAUTION is used toidentify unsafe practices which would result in minor personalinjury or product and property damage.INTRODUCTIONCan-ier residential thermostats are waft-mounted, low-voltagethermostats which maintain room temperatnse by controlling theoperation of an HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning)system. Separate heating and cooling set points and auto-changeover capability provides maximum comfort and flexibility.Some applications may require the addition of a jumper from RCto RH (see wiring diagrams). The thermostat comes factoryconfigured for air conditioner operation. See Fig. 1 for thermostatdimensions. During power interruption the internal memory storessettings indefinitely. Batteries are not required. The thermostatrequires 24 vac (both R and C terminals) to be connected forproper operation. The thermostat will not operate without therequired connections. (See Table 1). This AC Model (1-stage cool1-stage heat) thermostat is to be used for single-stage heatingand/or cooling applications only. This thermostat has separate heatand cool circuits. Some applications require the addition of ajumper from RC to RH. See applicable wiring diagram for moreinformation, This thermostat can be used with optional outdoortemperature' sensor.HEIGHT (IN.)
