These settings can be configured aftersaving the sample as user data.■ Chord Progression Setting Items(MZ-X500 only)Precautions when Recording If you change the pad number, or if you perform anoperation that exits the pad screen or pad settingscreen before saving the data you recorded to thepad as user data, the recorded data will be discardedand the pad data will return to what it was beforeyou recorded new data. If a MIDI recorder or audio recorder recordingoperation is in progress, stop it before performing apad recording operation. An operation that exits the pad screen cannot beperformed during pad recording standby or whilepad recording is in progress. If you record to a pad and then save the pad bankbefore saving the recorded data as user data, therecorded data will be discarded and the pad bankwill be save with the unsaved pad returned to thedata assigned to it prior to the recording.Use the procedure below to configure advancedsettings for when recording to a pad. Editableparameters depend on the type of data assigned to thepad.1. On the MENU screen, touch “PAD”.2. Select the pad whose settings you want toconfigure.3. Touch “0”.This displays the PAD RECORD SELECT screen.4. Select the type of the pad you want to record.This displays the PAD RECORD WAIT screen.5.
