Before opening up the machine-Shift the mains switch into the "OFF" position-Unplug the machine from the mains- Put up an easy-to-understand warning sign to stop anybody inadvertentlyswitching it back on again-Using a suitable measuring instrument, check to make sure thatcharged components (e.g. capacitors) have been discharged-Check mains plug, mains cable, welding torch, interconnection cable assbondings for damage-Check whether the allround distance of 0.5 m (1.6 ft.) is kept tcooling air can easily flow and escape.Note! Furthermore, air inlets and outlets must in no case be covered, not evencovered partly.-Optional: clean air filter-Dismantle machine side panels and clean machine inside with dry redpressed airNote! Risk of damage to electronic components. Clean electronic componentsfrom a certain distance only.-If a lot of dust has accumulated, clean the cooling-air ducts.Carry out disposal in accordance with the valid national and local regulations.Under normal operating conditions the power source requires only a minimum of careand maintenance.
