In addition we ask that you exercisea degree of care when using any electrical appliance and adhere to the following precautions:IMPORTANT SAFEGUARD FOR YOUR CONTROL GRIP SB 4010• Carefully read all instructions beforeoperation and save for future reference.• Remove and safely discard any packagingmaterial and promotional labels beforeusing the appliance for the first time.• To eliminate a choking hazard for youngchildren, remove and safely discard theprotective cover fitted to the power plugof the appliance.• Use this appliance ONLY for the purposesthat it has been intended for and how it isdescribed in this manual. This appliancehas been designed exclusively forhousehold use and contructed to processof normal amount of food in household.• Do not place the appliance near the edgeof a bench or table during operation. Usethe appliance only on level surface, free ofwater.• Ensure that the surface is clean, level, andfree of water.• Do not place the appliance on or near ahot gas burner, electric element or whereit could touch a heated oven.• Do not operate the appliance on a sinkdrain board.• This appliance is not intended to beoperated by means of an external timer orseparate remote control system.• Do not use sprays near the appliance.• Before you connect the appliance intothe power outlet make sure the voltageon the rating label corresponds to thevoltage in your power outlet.• Always make sure the appliance iscompletely and properly assembledbefore operating, mainly the blending leg.Follow the instructions in the manual.• Ensure the appliance is turned off andthe power is switche d off at the poweroutlet before attempting to assemble ordisassemble.• Do not run the appliance unless it iscorrectly and properly assembled. Do notrun an empty appliance. Incorrect using ofthe appliance can negatively influence itslife.• Handle the appliance and the accessorieswith care – remember the blades are verysharp and should be kept out of reach ofchildren.• Never use the appliance to process foodon a hot stove or gas burner. Alwaysremove the saucepan from the heatsource and ensure the power cord andthe appliance are also kept away from anyheat source.• Use the appliance as decribed in thismanual.• Use the whisk attachment only forthe recipes which require the whiskattachment usage. Do not use the whiskattachment any other purposes than it isintended for.• Do not process hot or boiling liquids inthe chopper / mixing bowl. Allow liquidsto cool before placing into the bowl.• Insert only food for mixing into thechopper / mixing bowl.• Allow the hot food to cool down to thetemperature of 60°C at least.• Do not operate the appliancecontinuously for more than 1 minute.After 1 minute, turn off the appliance andallow the motor to rest for 1 minute atleast.
