5Assembly InstructionsNOTE: Assembly of this heater requires basic mechanical skills. Proper assembly is the responsibility ofthe installer.STEP 1Remove all individual components from all cartons. Disposeof the remaining packaging.STEP 2Remove one protective end cap from the intake pipe, makecertain pipe threads remain wrapped with white teflon tape.• Do not tape over the first two threads at the of the intakepipe (fig. 01)STEP 3Locate the heater head assembly. Place the headassembly on a stable horizontal surface. Pleaseallow for the entire length of the patio heaterwhen establishing a work area (i.e. workbench,floor). Remove valve panel by removing the knobthen the (4) screws. Be careful when removingvalve panel so as not to tug on igniter wire that isstill attached. Carefully remove wire, (attachedwith a push/pull connection).Firmly holding the safety valve with channel lockpliers, thread the intake pipe clockwise into safetyvalve until tight.
