Close the door. Thedisplay will show WELCOME PRESS CLEAR AND PRESSCLOCK.2. Touch the STOP/CLEAR pad. “ : ” will appear.3. Set the clock.To Set The Clock1. Touch the CLOCK pad.2. Enter the correct time of day by touching thenumbers in sequence. Touch the CLOCK pad again.The microwave is equipped with a 12 hour clock. Ifyou attempt to enter an incorrect clock time, ERROR willappear in the display. Touch the STOP/CLEAR pad andre-enter the time.Before Operating• If electrical power to your microwave oven isinterrupted, the display will intermittently showWELCOME PRESS CLEAR AND PRESS CLOCK after the poweris restored. If power is interrupted during cooking, theprogram will be erased. The time of day will also beerased. Simply touch the STOP/CLEAR pad and resetthe clock for the correct time of day.Stop/ClearTouch the STOP/CLEAR pad to:1. Clear a mistake made during programming.2. Cancel the timer.3. Stop the microwave oven temporarily during timedcooking.4. Return the display to time of day.5. Cancel a program during cooking, touch twice fortimed cooking.Time CookingYour microwave oven can be programmed for 99 minutesand 99 seconds (99.99). Always enter the seconds afterthe minutes, even if they are both zeros.For example, to cook for 5 minutes at 100%.1. Enter cooking time by touching the number pads500.2. Touch the START/INSTANT ON pad.To Set Power LevelThe microwave has 11 preset power levels.Using lower power levels increases the cooking time whichis recommended for foods such as cheese, milk and, longslow cooking of meats or defrosting. Consult a cookbook orrecipes for specific recommendations.For example, to defrost for 5 minutes at 30%.1. Enter the defrosting time by touching the numberpads 500.2. Touch the POWER LEVEL pad and number 3.3. Touch the START/INSTANT ON pad.Manual OperationYou can program up to 4 automatic cooking sequences.Follow directions on page 23.
