When moving the winedispensing system for cleaning, always lift and pullthe unit straight out. Do not wiggle or walk the unit,because this may damage the countertop or theproduct. Moving the wine dispensing system requiresa minimum of two people.• Never immerse the wine dispensing system in wateror steam clean it. Damage caused by cleaning theunit in this manner could result in electric shock, fireor explosion.The dispensing heads, including the spout tips mustbe cleaned regularly. If the pickup tubes are notreplaced between bottle changes, they must becleaned before reuse.Drip TrayRemove and wash the drip tray (located on thebottom of the bottle bay) in warm water and dish-washing detergent, as needed.Cleaning the Spout TipsSubmerge the tips of the spouts in a glass of warmwater as needed, to clean any remaining drops thatmay have accumulated at the tip of the spouts. Dothis regularly at the end of each day the wine dis-pensing system is used.Cleaning the Dispensing HeadsDacor recommends cleaning the heads and pick uptubes with each bottle change. To clean the dispens-ing head follow these steps:1. Remove the pick up tube and discard or wash itout in a mild solution of warm water and dish-washing soap, then rinse it out.2. Remove the cap from thehead body by turning thecap counterclockwise. Thecap will pop off.3. place both the cap and thehead body in a dishwasherand set it for a normal washcycle.4. After washing, place thehead cap on the counterwith the top down. Spraya small amount of food-grade silicone spray on thevinyl cap gasket so that thecap rotates properly whenit is reinstalled. A can offood grade silicone spray isincluded with the system.See page 23 for reorderinformation.WARNINGUse only food grade silicone that is NSF approved.6. Re-position the cap on thehead, with the triangularpointer on the side of thecap pointing towards thearrow on the head body asshown.7. push the cap down and turnit clockwise.8. Line up the rotor switch (atthe center of the cap) withthe arrow on the head body.9.
