You can also use the POWER button on the front panelof the TV. Make sure your TV is plugged in before you try toturn it on. The on-screen information which is channel numberor VIDEO mode, channel label and audio status will be dis-played in a few seconds. To turn off the TV, press POWER but-ton again.Changing channelsYou can change channels in three ways:1. ThetCHs buttons will take you through all memorizedchannels, one by one. The tCHs buttons will not accesschannels that have not been programmed into the TV’s mem-ory. For more information about programming channels intomemory, see the section “Programming Your TV’s ChannelMemory.”2. The number buttons (0~9) will take you to any channel, evenif it has not been memorized. To changed to a channel, enterits number, the TV will tune to the new channel when youenter the second digit of the channel.3. The FAVORITE CH button on the remote will take youinstantly to the favorite channel you were memorizing.Changing volume1. To change the volume of the TV set, use the CVOLB but-tons on the remote or on the front panel of the TV.2. To quickly turn off the sound, press the MUTE button on theremote. The “Muted” character appear on screen.
