Do not useliquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use adamp cloth for cleaning.4 Do not use attachments not recommendedby the television equipment manufactureras they may result in the risk of fire,electric shock or other personal injury.5 Do not use this television equipment nearwater, for example, near a bathtub,washbowl, kitchen sink, or laundry tub, ina wet basement, or near a swimming pool,or the like.6 Do not place this television equipment onan unstable cart, stand, or table, Thetelevision equipment may fall, causingserious injury to a child or adult, andserious damage to the equipment. Use onlywith a cart or stand recommended by themanufacturer, or sold with the televisionequipment. Wall or shelf mounting shouldfollow the manufacturer's instructions, andshould use a mounting kit approved by themanufacturer.6A An appliance and cart combination shouldbe moved with care. Quick stops,excessive force, and uneven surface maycause the appliance and cart combinationto overturn.7 Slots and openings in the cabinet and theback or bottom are provided for ventilationand to ensure reliable operation of thetelevision equipment; and to protect itfrom overheating, these opening, must notbe blocked or covered. The opening shouldnever be blocked by placing the televisionequipment on a bed, sofa, rug, or othersimilar surface. (This equipment shouldnever be placed near or over a radiator orheat register.) This television equipmentshould not be placed in a built-ininstallation such as a bookcase unlessproper ventilation is provided.8 This television equipment should beoperated only from the type of powersource indicated on the marking label. Ifyou are not sure of the type of powersupplied to your home, consult yourtelevision dealer or local power company.9 This television equipment is equipped witha polarized alternating current line plug (aplug having one blade wider than theother). This plug will fit into the poweroutlet only one way. This is a safetyfeature. If you are unable to insert the plugfully into the outlet, try reversing the plug.If the plug should still fail to fit, contactyour electrician to replace your obsoleteoutlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose ofthe polarized plug.10 Do not allow anything to rest on the powercord. Do not locate this televisionequipment where the cord will be abusedby persons walking on it.11 Follow all warnings and instructionsmarked on the television equipment.12 For added protection for this televisionequipment during a lightning storm, orwhen it is left unattended and unused forlong periods of time, unplug it from thewall outlet and disconnect the antenna orcable system. This will prevent damage tothe equipment due to lightning and power-line surges.
