Your hand may getcaught if you attempt to make adjustments whilethe unit is swinging.Observe the following precautions to ensure thesystem operates.• Prevent direct sunlight from entering a room dur-ing COOLING OPERATION by using curtains orblinds.• Keep doors and windows closed. If the doors andwindows remain open, room air will flow out anddecrease the effect of cooling and heating.• Never place objects near the air inlet and the airoutlet of the unit. It may deteriorate the effect orstop the operation.• Adjust the room temperature properly for a com-fortable environment. Avoid excessive heating orcooling.Not doing so wastes electricity.• When the display shows “ ”, ask a qualifiedservice person to clean the filters.(Refer to “MAINTENANCE” on page 8.)Operating the unit with stained air filter maydecrease capacity or cause malfunction.• Install TVs, radios, and stereos 1 m or more awayfrom the indoor unit and remote controller.Images may become fuzzy and noise may begenerated.7. OPTIMUM OPERATION• Turn off the power circuit breaker when it is not inuse for a long period. When the power circuitbreaker is turned on, small amount of power isconsumed even if the system is not in operation.(*1) Turn off the power circuit breaker for savingenergy. When reoperating, turn on the power cir-cuit breaker 6 hours before operation for smoothrunning.(Refer to “MAINTENANCE” on page 8.)
