The refrigerant used for the airconditioner is safe and normally does not leak.However, if the refrigerant leaks and gets incontact with a naked burner, heater or cooker, itmay generate hazardous compounds. Turn offthe air conditioner and call the dealer. Make sureto turn on the air conditioner after the qualifiedservice person confirms that the leakage isrepaired.Consult your local dealer regarding what todo in case of refrigerant leakage.When the air conditioner is to be installed in asmall room, it is necessary to take proper mea-sures so that the amount of any leaked refriger-ant does not exceed the concentration limit inthe event of a leakage. Otherwise, this may leadto an accident due to oxygen depletion.
