PREPARATIONS BEFORE INSTALLATION(1) Relation of ceiling opening to unit and suspensionbolt position Installation is possible when ceiling-opening dimensionsare as follows:•(2) Make the ceiling opening needed for installationwhere applicable. (For existing ceilings)• Refer to the paper pattern for ceiling opening dimen-sions.• Create the ceiling opening required for installation.From the side of the opening to the casing outlet, imple-ment the refrigerant, drain piping, and wiring for remotecontroller (unnecessary if wireless ) and indoor-out-door unit casing outlet. Refer to each PIPING or WIR-ING section.• After making an opening in the ceiling, it may be neces-sary to reinforce ceiling beams to keep the ceiling leveland to prevent it from vibrating. Consult the builder fordetails.(3) Install the suspension bolts using either a W3/8” orM10 size bolt.Use a hole-in anchor for existing ceilings, and a sunkeninsert, sunken anchor, or other new ceiling parts to rein-force the ceiling to bear the weight of the unit.
