Failure to observethis instruction properly may adversely affect correctoperation of other units connected to the same earth. The power supply wiring can be routed from the front side. Exit thewiring via the upper mounting hole.A1P6.9.8 To connect the power supplyNOTICENever connect the power supply to transmission wiringterminal block. Otherwise the entire system may breakdown.CAUTIONWhen connecting the power supply, the earth connectionmust be made before the current-carrying connections areestablished. When disconnecting the power supply, thecurrent-carrying connections must be separated before theearth connection is. The length of the conductors betweenthe power supply stress relief and the terminal block itselfmust be as such that the current-carrying wires aretautened before the earth wire is in case the power supplyis pulled loose from the stress relief.Tightening torque for the terminal screws:Screw size Tightening torque (N•m)M8 (power terminal block) 5.5~7.3M8 (ground)NOTICERecommendations when connecting the earth wire:Wire it so that it comes through the cut out section of thecup washer. (An improper earth connection may prevent agood earthing from being achieved.)The power supply must be clamped to the plastic bracket using fieldsupplied clamp material. The green and yellow striped wire must be used for earthing only(refer to the figure below).eifbacdhega Power supply (380~415 V - 3N~ 50 Hz OR 400 V -3N~ 60 Hz)b Fusec Earth leakage protectord Earth wiree Power supply terminal blockf Connect each power wire: RED to L1, WHT to L2, BLK toL3 and BLU to Ng Earth wire (GRN/YLW). When connecting the earth wire, itis recommended to perform curling.h Clamp the power supply to the bracket using a fieldsupplied clamp to prevent external force being applied tothe terminal.i Cup washer.Multiple outdoor unitsTo connect the power supply for multiple outdoor units to each other, ring tongues have to be used. No bare cable can be used.In that case, the ring washer that is installed by default should beremoved.Attach both cables to the power supply terminal as indicated below:L1 L2 L2 N6.9.9 To connect the optional wiringFor the optional wiring use insulated wires of a rated voltage of250 V or higher and a minimal cross section of 1.25 mm² for singlecore wires and 0.75 mm² for multicore wires.Variable water flowThe variable water flow output signal is a low voltage control signalwhich generates an output of 2~10 V DC depending on the requiredwater flow rate through the plate heat exchanger. For moreinformation, see "5.4.4 About the water flow rate" on page 20.NOTICEThe maximum output power of the 2~10 V DC outputsignal is 50 mW. Exceeding this power can result indamage of the system.Always use shielded cables with a minimal cross section of0.75 mm² and a length limited to 100 m.
