For guidance, see1.2. Combinations and options.1 2 Combinations and optionsThe VRV Aurora series heat pump system can be combined with sev-eral types of indoor units and is intended for R410A use only. For an overview which units are available you can consult the productcatalogue for VRV Aurora series.NOTETo be sure your system setup (outdoor unit + indoor unit(s)) will work, you have to consult the latest technical engineering data for VRVAurora series. An overview is given indicating the allowed combinations of indoorunits and outdoor units. Not all combinations are allowed. They aresubject to rules (combination between outdoor-indoor, single outdoorunit use, multiple outdoor units use, combinations between indoorunits, etc.) mentioned in the technical engineering data.1 2 1 Indoor units combinationsIn general VRV indoor units can be connected to RXLQ-T units.1 2 2 Outdoor units combinationsAurora series combination for RXLQ-T units are as indicated in tablesbelow (and right), where RXLQ 144-240 consists of multiple RXLQ72-120 single modules as indicated.72 96 120RXLQ72TATJU/TAYDU/TAYCU 1RXLQ96TATJU/TAYDU/TAYCU 1RXLQ120TATJU/TAYDU/TAYCU 1RXLQ144TATJU/TAYDU/TAYCU 2RXLQ192TATJU/TAYDU/TAYCU 2RXLQ240TATJU/TAYDU/TAYCU 2To install the outdoor unit, the following accessory parts are alsorequired.1 Refrigerant branch kit.Description Model nameRefnet headerKHRP26M22H9KHRP26M33H9KHRP26M72H9KHRP26M73HU9Refnet jointKHRP26A22T9KHRP26A33T9KHRP26M72TU9KHRP26M73TU9For the selection of the optimal branch kit, refer to 7.4. Instructions (group or individual) can be instructed for lownoise operation and power consumption limitation operation.5 For RXLQ-T units it is also possible to make several commissioningfield settings through a personal computer interface. For this option999482P3 is required which is a dedicated cable to communicatewith the outdoor unit. The software for the user interface programcan be obtained from your local Daikin sales office.INFORMATIONRefer to the technical engineering data for the latest option names.
