Exit thewiring via the upper mounting hole.A1P5 8 8 To connect the power supplyNOTENever connect the power supply to transmission wiringterminal block. Otherwise the entire system may breakdown.CAUTIONWhen connecting the power supply, the ground connectionmust be made before the current-carrying connections areestablished. When disconnecting the power supply, thecurrent-carrying connections must be separated before theground connection is. The length of the conductorsbetween the power supply stress relief and the terminalblock itself must be as such that the current-carrying wiresare tautened before the ground wire is in case the powersupply is pulled loose from the stress relief.Tightening torque for the terminal screws:Screw size Tightening torqueM8 (Power terminal block) 4.05~5.38 ft·lbf (5.5~7.3 N·m)M8 (Ground)NOTERecommendations when connecting the ground wire:Wire it so that it comes through the cut out section of thecup washer. (An improper ground connection may preventa good grounding from being achieved.)The power supply must be clamped to the plastic bracket using fieldsupplied clamp material. The green and yellow striped wire must be used for grounding only(refer to the figure below).eifbacdhjega Power supply (575 V - 3 phase 60 Hz)b Fusec Ground leakage protectord Ground wiree Power supply terminal blockf Connect each power wire: RED to L1, WHT to L2 and BLKto L3g Ground wire (GRN/YLW). When connecting the groundwire, it is recommended to perform curling.h Clamp the power supply to the bracket using a fieldsupplied clamp to prevent external force being applied tothe terminal.i Cup washer.j Vinyl tube (accessory)5 8 9 To connect the conduitPower supply and transmission wiring: Connect it usingconduit mounting platesConduit (field supply)Conduitmountingplate(accessory)Lock nut (field supply)Top plateTop plate5 8 10 To connect the optional wiringFor the optional wiring use insulated wires of a rated voltage of250 V or higher and a minimal cross section of AWG16 for singlecore wires and AWG18 for multicore wires.Variable water flowThe variable water flow output signal is a low voltage control signalwhich generates an output of 2~9 V DC depending on the requiredwater flow rate through the plate heat exchanger. For moreinformation, see "4.4.4 Variable water flow rate" on page 17.NOTEThe maximum output power of the 2~9 V DC output signal is50 mW. Exceeding this power can result in damage of the system.Always use shielded cables with a minimal cross section ofAWG18 and a length limited to 328 ft (100 m).The control line of the valve/pump should be connected to the X2Mconnector in the electrical switchbox. To connect the valve/pump tothe outside unit, also provide a separate 12 V DC power supply (tobe installed external of outside unit) (with an output power of at least50 mW) to the X2M connector.Connect the valve/pump to: X2M terminals 2 and 3.
