Installation Guide ECL Comfort 310, application A3767.8 AlarmMany applications in the ECL Comfort 210 and 310 series have analarm function. The alarm function typically activates relay 4 (ECLComfort 210) or relay 6 (ECL Comfort 310).The alarm relay can activate a lamp, a horn, an input to an alarmtransmitting device etc.The relay in question is activated as long as the alarm conditionis present.Typical alarms:• Actual flow temperature differs from the desired flowtemperature.• Too low or too high pressure (A376.9)• Extra alarms, for example circulation pump malfunction(A376.9)Besides the mentioned alarm types, alarm can be activated when atemperature sensor becomes defective (i.e. outside the measuringrange -60 ... 150 °C). This is the case if the connection to thetemperature sensor is disconnected, short-circuited or the sensoritself is defective.See the set-up procedure for temperature sensor alarms in section‘Common controller settings’, ‘System’, ‘ Raw input overview’.7.8.1 Temp. monitor.Upper difference 13147Circuit Setting range Factory setting3 OFF / 1 ... 30 K OFFThealarmisactivatediftheactualflowtemperatureincreasesmorethanthe set difference (acceptable temperature difference above the desiredflow temperature).
