If the dehumidifier is not functioning correctly, shut it down immediatelyFault finding Use this table to localize and solve a possible problem or fault:Fault SolutionThe dehumidifier doesnot start when poweris connected• Check external fuses• Check that the power supply to the units is correct• Check that the switch on the side is ON• Check the built-in hygrostat by setting it on a lower rela-tive humidity. This is done by turning the hygrostat knobclockwise. If the unit does not start, check the built-inhygrostat for faultsThe unit was switchedoff automaticallyIf it starts after 44 minutes, but switches off again shortly af-terwards, check the following:• Check that the fan is running when the unit starts after44 minutes• Check whether the condenser coil is dirty• Check whether the filter is dirty• Check whether the room temperature is above 30 °C. Ifthe unit has not been switched off automatically at aroom temperature above 30 °C, it should be switched off.• Check that the air inlet on the front and the air outletthrough the grill on the sides are not blocked.The evaporator coilhas iced up and theunit does not separatewater• Check whether the room temperature is below 3 °C. If so,and the unit has not automatically been switched off, itshould be switched off.• Check that the air inlet on the front and the air outletthrough the grill on the sides are not blockedThe LED on the frontpanel flashes in red andthe water tank is empty• Check that the float is lying loose in the water tank andthat it can move freely up and down.
