References248 QuickScanTM Lite QW2100Flash On TimeThis feature specifies the ON time for the indicator LED while in Flash Mode. The selectablerange is 100 to 9,900 milliseconds (0.1 to 9.9 seconds), in 100 millisecond increments.Follow these instructions to set this feature.1. Determine the desired setting in milliseconds.2. Divide the desired setting by 100 (setting is in 100ms increments). Pad the result withleading zeroes to yield two digits. For example: 0 = 00, 5 = 05, 20 = 20, etc.3. Scan the ENTER/EXIT PROGRAMMING MODE bar code to enter ProgrammingMode.4. Scan the bar code: SELECT FLASH ON TIME SETTING.5. Scan the appropriate two digits from the keypad in Appendix E, Keypad representingthe duration which was determined in the steps above. You will hear a two-beep indica-tion after the last character.6. Scan the ENTER/EXIT PROGRAMMING MODE bar code to exit ProgrammingMode.This completes the procedure.
